My attendance for the Pink Army gatherings has always been rather poor but I will always make an effort to turn up for our Xmas Eve gatherings. Attendance was rather good this year except for Chuyun and Moreen who are overseas. We went to the Outback Steakhouse@Millenia Walk where the food wasn't as nice as I thought. I ordered ribeye steak and I only managed to finish half of the dish. The topics that we, or rather they talk about nowadays are so much different than before. "How much is that bag of yours?" "I went to this so and so country and ......"
"I am working in this so and so company and .....""When do you intend to get married with him?""Have you applied for a flat?""How do you intend to get married?"I should started working soon I guess....
After dinner, we exchanged our Christmas gifts. As they did not know if I was joining them, I wasn't included in the gift exchange. Thus, I was prepared to sit at a corner and be out of the picture and drink my wine solemnly. Little did I know they actually bought small gifts for everyone!!!!!!! So guilty as I was, I was happily accepting the gifts when I actually went empty-handed!!!!!!!! Girls, I am really sorry k? I promise I will repay you double next year k? =p
We then went to the nearby pub, Paulaner which is supposedly known for their self-brewed beer. The pub was a nice place to chill out, especially with their live-band which had rather good singers. Basically, we were sitting around and chatting while waiting for the clock to strike twelve (especially Daixing). I was getting bored and decided to take some pictures and that started the ball rolling. (A lot of the pictures are yet to be uploaded as they are in the other cameras.) Unlike the past years, all of us left straight after the countdown. We used to be able to stay up for the whole night, have breakfast and take the first train home. But it seems rather impossible nowadays.
These are the gifts and cards I received from the Pink Army this year. Basically, most of the cards commented that my attendance for the gatherings was poor and hoped that it will improved in the coming year. Yes girls, I will do it and do ask me out if there are any gatherings k? I must say the girls have put in alot of effort in the gifts, especially Wyn and Junie. Junie bought stockings which contained sweets and stuck our initials (cut-out felt cloth) on them. Wyn made a card which consists of cartoon characters which represented each of us in Pink Army. Apparently, Daixing drew those characters on Wyn's notebook during secondary school days and she still kept them till now. She asked her boyfriend to trace and colour the characters and to design the card. But of course, she was the one who paid for them. 
So which cartoon character do I belong to? Yes..it's the ugliest one...the Bulldog!!!!! (second from the left) Freaking hell....
