For a change, Dear and I decided to go outdoors for the weekends. (Actually we wanted to go long ago but something always cropped up.) We wanted to go for the trail walk which extends from Alexandra to Mt. Faber on Saturday but the plan was futher postponed again due to the rain. Instead, we went to the Keppel Bay and Mt Faber walk walk.
We finally managed to go for the trail walk on Sunday. A nice idea for family outings. I felt so energised with the fresh air, lush greenery and great scenery surrounding me. One of the main reason of the walk was to visit the Henderson Waves. Interesting structure. The top "waves" serve as a shelter space but the bottom "waves" is kind of un-utilised. If only some function can be added to it. Hmmm....I think I walked almost 7km on Sunday. Almost had to walk 10km when Dear wanted to walk back to Alexandra Arch where we parked our car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank god Dear said he would walk back himself and I could just wait for him to drive the car to Henderson Waves. While waiting, I managed to take some night pictures of the waves. Cool.Weekend dates spent outdoors are great. No need to spend too much money and we can stay slim and fit while spending time with your loved ones. Nice. Surprisingly, my legs are not aching.
